This three day clinic is a unique opportunity to learn from and climb with Grand Junction local Rob Pizem. Rob is one of the world's foremost and prolific trad and crack climbers. This clinic will give you the opportunity to learn, practice and apply gear climbing techniques with one of the best. We will explore the uncrowded sandstone and granite crack climbing of the Uncompahgre Plateau and focus on skills and techniques that you will find useful in your trad climbing ambitions, be them in the mountains or at crack-centric venues like Yosemite and Indian Creek. This course will take place in the stunningly beautiful red rock desert of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah.

Rob's climbing accomplishments include over 25 big wall ascents in the USA and internationally. He climbs and has established climbs up to and including 5.14 crack and sport. During his nearly 20 years as a sponsored athlete, he has taught hundreds of people how to climb through clinics and gym events, and mentored climbers of all ages.
